iRostrum and Explorers Against Extinction
iRostrum are delighted to have been approached by The Real Africa Trust to support their fundraising event 'Explorers Against Extinction' on the 12 October 2017 at London's Royal Geographical Society.
As part of this unique event leading explorers, adventurers, wildlife experts and conservationists, including Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Colonel John Blashford-Snell, will come together for a special evening to make a stand against extinction, ending with a Q&A on conservation hosted by BBC presenter Nicky Campbell.
The Explorers Against Extinction evening will highlight the threat of extinction to some of Africa's most iconic that is seeing one elephant being killed every 15 minutes - 100 a day.
The charity therefore asked famous wildlife artists and celebrities to create an original artwork or a sketch and donate it to the 'Sketch for Survival' Exhibition. All artwork will be on display at the event.
As official Sponsors iRostrum has provided Explorers Against Extinction with their own branded and integrated online bidding platform where the 'Sketch for Survival' artworks will be offered for sale. Through the iRostrum online auction platform bidding on the artworks will be possible anytime, anywhere and on any device, thus maximising its audience and fundraising potential.
The unique sketches can be viewed and bid on from 24th July until the 15th October, with the first five lots in the auction being sold live at the event on the 12th October. To place advance bids on these and all other lots visit explorersagainstextinction.irostrum.com.
All profits from the auction will be donated to charities that lead the way on Animal Wildlife Conservation and the vital fight to save endangered animals. Celebrity collaborators and artists already include Gary Hodges, Karen Laurence-Rowe, Pollyanna Pickering, Clive Meredith, Martin Aveling, Katy Jade Dobson, Fearne Cotton and many more.
